In Medicine Experience Counts

Below is a guide to pricing. Final pricing will depend upon the individual patients requirements after a consultation has occurred with one of our experienced medical personal. Always remember that pricing cannot be compared between clinics, as treatment techniques, equipment and products will vary in quality, doses and the clinic’s running standards.

WRINKLE RELAXERS are an effective, fast and safe wrinkle therapy that works by relaxing the muscles that create lines. This very popular treatment will last on average 3 to 6 months and can provide subtle to dramatic results. Most commonly used around the eyes, between the eyes and the forehead. It is a great preventer of ageing as well as a treatment for it.  Pricing options start from $150.
MUSCLE RELAXERS FOR EXCESS UNDERARM SWEATING is a highly effective treatment to reduce sweating in unwanted areas. It can last up to 15 months (on average 6 to 9 months) for some patients and is most often used in the underarm and palm areas. Price: $990 with a free top up 3 weeks later if needed.

MUSCLE RELAXERS FOR TENSION HEADACHES Research has shown that this treatment can reduce severity and attacks for tension headache sufferers by relaxation of the forehead muscles spasm at times of stress. Pricing options start from $150.

WRINKLE FILLERS are substances, similar to those found naturally in the body, that are injected into skin to plump out lines and restore a more youthful contour to the face. There are a variety of fillers on the market with some lasting from 4 to 6 months while others last considerably longer. Our doctor has experience with all of them and can advise what would be suitable for the individuals needs. The treatment is generally fast, effective and safe. Pricing options start from $262.

LIP AUGMENTATION AND RESTORATION involves injecting a product into the lips to either restore a collapsing lip and stretch out unwanted lines, or to improve the size of the lip. Lip restoration does not create “trout pout”. This is a favourite treatment of Dr Argie’s to bring instant balance to the lower face. Lips are a specialised filler area and should only be carried out by an experienced doctor. Pricing options start at $308.

VOLUME FILLERS are designed to provide bulk to the face and restore contours to areas including the cheeks and chin and to fill hollows, such as deep nasolabial lines. They are usually long term fillers lasting up to 18 months (with an average 9 to 12 months) and can be performed at the time of consultation. Volume Fillers are becoming very popular. Cheek Filling is a specialised area of filling that should only be carried out by an experienced doctor to avoid “chipmunk cheeks” and for appropriate after-care if any side effects should arise. Pricing options start from $780.

NON-SURGICAL FACELIFT (“The Natural Lift”) is a 30 minute procedure that provides an instant lift to the mid-face and jowl region. It utilises a combination of volume and dermal fillers to achieve a soft, natural appearance with minimal side effects and down time, unlike surgery. Dr Argie has successfully performed hundreds of these and is known as one of Australia’s advanced injectors. Packages Available to save.

PLASMA COLLAGEN INDUCTION THERAPY involves removing a patient’s own blood, spinning to concentrate the collagen growth factors found in serum and then re-injecting into the skin. The idea is to stimulate the body to increase its collagen in the dermis and thus create tighter, smoother and more youthful skin. The results can be seen within 3 months as it takes this long to produce collagen. Plasma therapy can be done as a once off with procedures such as rollering or as a series of 3 on their own spaced apart monthly. ARGERA uses only the highest collagen yielding collection vials. Pricing starts from $495/vial. Packages Available to save.

MEDICAL MICRODERMABRASION is a super microdermabrasion machine that gently “exfoliates” and vacuums the epidermal surface making it smoother, less pigmented and cleaner. The operator can then infuse medical grade skin care through the epidermis and into the upper dermis. This allows direct targeting of skin problems such as acne, dehydration, pigmentation, whiteheads and ageing skin. The nurse, or doctor, because of the strength of the infusion cosmeceuticals, can only carry it out. Those experiencing this and traditional microdermabrasion have all noticed the greater intensity at which it works. Fantastic as a once off too for special events, as there is no down time.  Price: $300, this is a nurse only treatment.

CHEMICAL PEELING procedures date back to ancient Egypt where Cleopatra was recorded as having regular peels to improve the clarity, texture and pigmentation of her skin. Nowadays, peels range from natural fruit acids to synthetic chemicals. This allows us to achieve results ranging from skin refreshment to a deeper peel that can show dramatic improvement in severely sun or acne damaged skin. The lighter peels are fantastic for teenage skin with active acne. Pricing options start from $200.

COMPRESSION SCLEROTHERAPY is a fast, effective and surprisingly comfortable technique to remove unsightly spider veins. It involves injecting a chemical into the veins to collapse the vessel. The body then reabsorbs the unwanted veins. A compression stocking or bandage is then worn for the next week to ensure the success of the treatment.

Priced from $395, this is a doctor only treatment.

LIPOLYSIS/MESOTHERAPY is a popular treatment in Europe. It involves the injection of chemicals to tighten skin and shrink fat. The results are variable but best in small areas of concern such as thighs and arms. Price: $770/area/treatment.

ULTHERA® SKIN TIGHTENING uses focused ultrasound waves to tighten and lift the skin. There is no downtime and treatment takes only a few hours. A once only treatment is needed, as this is a resetting of skin. UTHERA can provide a non-surgical face, brow, jowl, neck lift as well as a décolletage improvement. Pricing options start from $1100.

ENDYMED PRO SYSTEM® FOR CELLULITE, SKIN TIGHTENING, ACNE, STRETCH MARKS AND PIGMENTATION uses radio frequency waves to improve the texture, colour and condition of the skin. By changing the handpieces, various conditions can be targeted. There is virtually no downtime but a series of 3 to 6 treatments may be needed. Pricing options start from $550/treatment but Packages are available to save.

HAIR LOSS (ALOPECIA) TREATMENT is available using a holistic approach that uses the latest techniques to improve blood flow to the scalp and promote hair growth and slow loss, combined with optional traditional medical treatments. Al patients must undergo a consultation with the doctor who will investigate the cause of the loss and provide and make suitable treatment recommendations. Packages Available to save.

MEDICAL ROLLERING involves the induction of collagen via rollering tiny holes into the skin to stimulate the body to heal itself with a tighter, smoother skin. Medical rollering uses longer needles to reach the dermis than beautician grade rollering. For this reason, ARGERA uses specially formulated anaesthetic cream prior to treatment to prevent pain. The treatment can be coupled with plasma collagen therapy to further improve results. Three treatments at 1 month apart are recommended with the results continuing to improve for up to 12 months. This is a great anti-aging treatment for skin and proven effective on scars, including acne scars. Packages Available to save.

CLEAR AND BRILLIANT® LASER THERAPY improves skin pigmentation, texture, open pores and acne via a series of specialised laser treatments. Unlike other lasers there is no downtime.  Packages Available to save.

CO2 LASER FACE AND NECK RESURFACING is a doctor only treatment that provides the most dramatic of results for those patients wanting to reset their skin to a younger, smoother, tighter and clear complexion. A single treatment is needed. Prices range from $3300 to $4400 for a full face/neck.

MONALISA TOUCH VAGINAL REJUVENATION helps correct the symptoms of menopause such as dryness, pain on sex, frequent urinary infections, mild incontinence and recurrent thrush. It also has a tightening effect to the vaginal walls. See for more information Packages Available to save.

LIPOSCULPTURE (tumescent) removes unwanted fat via the use of a local anaesthetic solution and cannulas. It is not a weight loss solution or a treatment for cellulite but rather corrects an area that is out of proportion with the rest of the body.

The most common areas liposculptured include the upper and lower abdomen, flanks, thighs, arms, “man boobs” and neck. The tumescent technique does not require a general anesthetic, which makes it a relatively safe procedure and more affordable. Patients must wear a discrete garment under their clothes for 1 month but usually, return to work within 3 days after the procedure. Most patients are back to their usual gym work within 2 weeks. There is surprisingly minimal pain and most of the results is seen are within 4 weeks but they continue to improve over the next 12 months. Liposculpture can only be performed in a Health Department licensed facility, which ensures the highest in safety standards. See

FAT TRANSFER can be performed at the same time as liposculpture or as a separate procedure. It involves removing fat from a donor site and injecting it into an area that requires plumping out. Common sites include lips, cheeks, and nasolabial grooves.

THREAD LIFTING is an alternative to a face-lift and will provide a soft result. This procedure involves the application of barbed threads underneath the skin to provide a lifting effect. It is safe and quick with minimal swelling and bruising. Combined with a volume filler, it can restore a more rounded, youthful appearance. The latest threads dissolve after 9 months leaving the result.
